Established 2007
(2007–2010)
Soccajoeys was founded in 2007 with the Preschool Program, introducing children to soccer in a fun and nurturing way. By 2010, the first three franchises in NSW had opened, proving the model's success and planting the seeds for national growth.
(2011–2014)
The early 2010s were a time of strong momentum. Eight new franchises launched in NSW, alongside the Junior Program and the Next Step Foundation, supporting children with additional needs. Growth quickly spread interstate with new locations in Queensland and South Australia, and new programs like Sports Tots expanded the offering to even younger children.
(2016–2017)
By the mid-2010s, Soccajoeys was more than weekly soccer classes. The first Victorian franchise opened, and new offerings like the Minis Program, Birthday Parties, Holiday Programs, and Daycare Programs brought families even more ways to connect with the brand.
(2018–2020)
Soccajoeys went truly national with its first Western Australian franchise and continued expansion across VIC, SA, and QLD. New programs like the Premier Program and OOSH gave kids more pathways to stay active, while international operations launched in Singapore. The ON THE GO program followed in 2020, designed for modern, flexible lifestyles.
(2021–Today)
Recent years have been marked by scale and innovation. Multiple new franchises opened across Australia, the Western Australia Master Franchise was signed, and Soccajoeys launched its 10th program.
With over one million kids registered since 2007, the network continues to grow — and is now expanding into New Zealand.
